REGIONWIDE – Another round of snow moved through Central Pennsylvania Tuesday morning, hours after a line of snow brought a fresh coating and rumbles of thunder.

The eastbound lanes of Route 22 was closed early Tuesday for more than an hour after a tractor trailer jackknifed in Jackson Township, Cambria County. The road was closed from the intersection of Longspur Lane to the Indiana County Line.

All eastbound lanes of Route 322 were closed between Routes 45 and 144 for a crash shortly after 5:30 a.m. The road was reopened shortly before 9 a.m.

Drivers encountered reduced visibility along many roadways. PennDOT has reduced the speed limit to 45 mph along I-80 west of Bellefonte and along I-99 from the Bedford/Blair County Line to the Blair/Centre County Line.

WTAJ has confirmed College Township, Bellwood Borough and Clearfield Borough have declared a snow emergency. Residents are not permitted to park on the street until the snow has ended and the streets have been cleared of all snow and ice to the edge of the pavement. Clearfield Borough in a release Tuesday said they have "the option to tow vehicles from specific roadways to allow for snow removal and passage of emergency vehicles."

Please contact your local public works office if you have questions regarding snow removal where you live, and to see if you are under a snow emergency.
