Ski season this year will be more limited by the lack of skiers rather than the lack of snow. We've hit peak slope counts and base coverage here in March. Even as we warm in the near future we're going to have a gradual and dry warm up with mild days and cool nights next week which means the loss of snow in resorts will be limited to other years at this time.

As for weather, spring has sprung. But don't get depressed, spring is still a time when we get some snow. In fact we will likely have a little fresh covering with snow showers later Saturday into Sunday. But we're going to be bast the spells of bitter cold. This weekend will be cool and dry enough that the snow will not be too slushy, but we are going to have softer conditions during the upcoming week.

Happy Turns,

Joe
