Morning Forecast, Monday November 13, 2017

A system is moving through our area this morning. It will bring us some showers and a bit of a wintry mix in spots. Please use caution on your morning commute and watch for icy roadways. If there is some slick spots on the roads, it will happen first on bridges and overpasses. As the day progresses, and this system moves out, we will have clouds breaking for a few peaks of sunshine. Our high temperatures today will be in the mid to upper 40s. Tonight we will have patchy clouds as low temperatures fall into the upper 20s to lower 30s. Many areas will be around the freezing mark of thirty-two degrees.

Tomorrow a ridge of high pressure will be over top of Central PA. This will bring us a mix of clouds and sunshine. Even with the sunshine, temperatures on Tuesday will be slightly below average. Our average high temperatures this time in November are in the lower to mid 50s. Tuesday our high temperatures will be in the mid to upper 40s. Tuesday night we will be partially clear with low temperatures quickly tumbling into the upper 20s and lower 30s.

Our next low-pressure system will roll in late Wednesday. It is also weak. Wednesday we will start off with sunshine mixing in with the clouds then by afternoon clouds will take over the sky. High temperatures on Wednesday will be in the upper 40s to lower 50s. Late Wednesday and into early Thursday there will be some scattered showers. In higher elevations a wintry mix cannot be ruled out. The mix will continue early Thursday then we will have variable cloudiness. Our high temperatures on Thursday will be in the upper 40s to lower 50s. It will feel colder though due to winds from the northwest. It will be a very blustery day with winds gusting higher than 25 miles per hour. Friday temperatures will be in the upper 40s to lower 50s. Friday will be a relatively quiet day with times of clouds and sunshine. Friday night our low temperatures will drop into the mid to upper 30s as clouds increase. A potent low-pressure system will roll into the region on Saturday. At this time Saturday looks to be a cloudy and wet day, with at times heavy rainfall. If you have plans on Saturday it will be dreary and you’ll need your umbrella. High temperatures on Saturday will be in the upper 30s to lower 40s. It will become windy as the day goes on. Late Saturday into Sunday the rain will switch to a wintry mix. Use caution if you are traveling there will be icy spots on the roadways.

Sunday will be a cloudy day with a wintry mix. Our high temperatures on Sunday will struggle to make it out of the thirties. Sunday will also be a blustery day. A ridge of high pressure returns for Monday. We will have clouds mixing in with some sunshine. Our high temperatures on Monday will be in the lower to mid 30s. The rest of next week high temperatures will range from the 30s to the 40s.
