Midday Forecast, Monday November 06, 2017

A cold front is rolling across the region today. This brought us a steady rainfall this morning. Now it will become drier as the day goes on. This afternoon our temperatures will be in the 50s for the most part. It will also become breezy. Winds today will be form the northwest between ten to fifteen miles an hour. Tonight is going to be chilly. Our low temperatures will fall into upper 30s to lower 40s with patchy clouds. During the day tomorrow we will have a mix of clouds and sun.  A stray shower cannot be ruled out on Tuesday. In Southern Counties, there is a better chance to see a shower or even a wintry mix.  Our high temperatures will be in the upper 40s to lower 50s. Winds on Tuesday will be form the northeast and they will be light. A ridge of high pressure will be to our north on Tuesday and Wednesday, and to our south there will be a low. Depending on how far north the low moves, will depend on how many clouds we see.

Wednesday it looks like we will have times of clouds and sun. There will be more clouds to the south compared to northern counties. At this time it looks like rain will stay out of our region, but if we do see a shower or sprinkle it will be in southern counties. Tuesday night there will be some clouds filling the sky. Our low temperatures on Tuesday will be in the upper 20s to lower 30s. It will be a chilly night. You’ll need your car heaters on for early Wednesday morning. Our high temperatures on Wednesday will be in the upper 40s to lower 50s. Wednesday night there will be variable cloudiness with low temperatures in the lower to mid 30s.

Thursday a weakening cold front will try to make its way across the area. It looks like the front will be a big temperature changer but not bring much precipitation. High temperatures on Thursday will be in the lower to mid 40s. We will have clouds with some peeks of sunshine. There will also be a few sprinkles and flurries. Thursday night our low temperatures will drop into the upper 20s to lower 30s. Friday looks like a very chilly day. Our high temperatures on Friday will struggle to make it out of the 30s. Our average high temperatures this time in November is in the lower to mid 50s so this is well below average.  Friday we will have high pressure moving in bringing us sunshine with a few passing clouds. Friday night will be bitter cold. Our low temperatures on Friday night will fall into the lower to mid 20s and we will have a clear sky.

There will be a frosty start to Saturday and throughout the day on Saturday we will have a mostly sunny sky. Our high temperatures on Saturday will be in the upper 30s to lower 40s. It will also be a blustery day. Into the next week our high temperatures will slowly rebound back to average in the lower to mid 50s.
