Tuesday morning web weather 11-14

Rather quiet

High pressure over Ohio is sliding across the state today providing a quiet period through the middle of the week. Temperatures range from the low 30s in the northern tier and Laurel Highlands to the low 40s in the central valleys. Pockets of drizzle and some freezing drizzle are occurring in the higher elevations this morning but aside from that, Doppler radar is clear. Clouds break for some sun this afternoon as temperatures rise into the upper 30s in the Laurel Highlands and north of I-80 and reach the low to mid 40s east of I-99. Future track shows patchy cloudiness tonight and tomorrow before a warm front approaches increasing the threat of showers tomorrow evening. A series of fronts will cause major temperatures swings this week, highs today through Thursday will be in the 40s, Friday and Saturday we should reach the 50s before plunging into the 30s on Sunday.
