Reported by Meteorologist Regina Miller
This afternoon will be warm and humid ahead of a slow moving front. We'll have hazy sunshine. Temperatures will climb into the low to mid 80s in a few spots depending on when showers and storms start to pop-up. Scattered showers and storms will be around this afternoon or evening. Tonight, showers and storms will continue in parts of the region. Any storm could have an associated heavy downpour. Overnight lows will average in the mid 60s. Tomorrow expect variable cloudiness, high humidity and scattered showers and storm. Some storms could be heavy. There is a slight risk of severe storms as a slow moving front sags across the region through the day. High winds are the greatest concern other than heavy downpours. Behind the front, most locations will get through Thursday and Friday dry with a mixture of clouds and sunshine. Highs each day will average around the 80 degree mark. The chance for some pop-up showers and storms will return for Saturday and Sunday. High temps this weekend will get to around 80 degrees or a little warmer in spots.
