Penn State - Indiana Gameday Forecast

Chief Meteorologist Joe Murgo tells us what to expect on Saturday

Penn State is back home this Saturday for a 3:30pm kickoff against the Indiana Hoosiers. It's the last of four September home games. When everything is done, many would think this may actually be the best weather game so far. There should be no travel issues to the stadium. It will be a bit cool and breezy for the pre-game tailgates. You likely will need the sweatshirt or light jacket, especially when the sun is behind the clouds.

Temperatures will rise through the 50s and be near 60° for the kickoff. Temperatures will stay within a few degrees of 60 through the game. This will be comfortable in the sun, but a bit cool in the shade, especially with the breeze. Therefore, you may want to bring an extra layer as the sun will be setting toward the end of the game. The weather will be a bit chilly for the post game tailgates with temperatures dropping through the 50s.
