Overnight weather forecast Monday, April 3, 2017

Windy, mild Tuesday coming our way.

As a front moves through the region, Tuesday will turn out to be unsettled and windy with showers. There could also be breaks of sunshine between the showers. The combination of these breaks of sunshine and a westerly flow will help temperatures to rebound into the 60s once again. A weak bubble of high pressure will give us at least some sunshine on Wednesday. This will make for a nice day on Wednesday with some sunshine and highs in the 60s. That nice weather will not last. A stronger front will bring some rain and perhaps thunderstorm on Thursday. Behind that front, much colder air will move into the region. Friday will be windy and much colder with a good deal of clouds along with scattered showers of rain and snow. Highs will be in the 40s, but may drop down into the 30s at any point in time, especially when it is precipitating. There is a good chance for at least a covering of snow on the grassy surfaces across the higher terrain. There still can be sprinkles and flurries early Saturday then clouds will break for some sunshine. Temperatures will not rise out of the 40s on Saturday with a breeze making it feel colder than that. Sunday will be the nicer day of the weekend with temperatures reaching to near 60. Even warmer air moves in next week.
