Reported by: Chief Meteorologist Joe Murgo
A front will make a little more progress northeastward during the day on Thursday. Places north and east of the front will still be cool with highs in the 60s while places west of Route 219 will be closer to 80. There will still be scattered showers and thunderstorms Thursday. Everywhere should be in the warm air on Friday with highs well in the 70s to near 80. There will be a pop up shower or thunderstorm in some spots, but most areas and much of the time will be rain free. A slow moving front will bring more numerous showers and thunderstorms Saturday. Heavier downpours are possible. The front will still be close enough to bring the possibility of a shower or thunderstorm Sunday. Monday and Tuesday will be seasonably mild with the chance for a pop up shower or thunderstorm either day.
