Reported by: Chief Meteorologist Joe Murgo

A slow moving upper level low pressure system will keep us a bit cool and unsettled through the upcoming weekend. Friday will feature both clouds and sunshine. There will be a scattering of pop up showers and thunderstorms developing during the afternoon hours and then should diminish during the evening. Highs will be in the 50s to near 60 but the breeze will make it feel a little cooler than that. Temperatures will drop into the lower 40s Friday night. Both Saturday and Sunday will feature times of clouds and sunshine. There will be a couple of showers and thunderstorms popping up each day, but while some spots will have a downpour, other spots will be missed. There may be a little more activity during the day Saturday as a front swings through the region. Highs each day will be in the 50s to near 60. The chance for rainfall will diminish a little, but will not disappear for early next week. We'll turn warmer through the week with the mercury eventually reaching into the 70s later in the week.
