Reported by: Chief Meteorologist Joe Murgo
Fog will develop in the valleys during the morning hours and may take a little while before evaporating away for another nice day Friday. After the fog, sunshine will help temperatures rebound into the middle to upper 70s. A warm front will pass through the area with just some clouds Friday night and set the stage for muggier air for the holiday weekend. Saturday will be a little warmer and more humid with a mix of clouds and sunshine. Temperatures will reach the upper 70s to near 80 with only a couple of isolated showers or thunderstorms. A plume of moisture and a dying front will bring a little more clouds on Sunday. There will be more in the way of scattered showers and thunderstorms. Labor Day will also be warm and humid with clouds and sunshine and the possibility for a shower or thunderstorm. Warm air will be building even more as we head into next week. Temperatures will reach the lower to middle 80s Tuesday with clouds and sunshine and only the chance for a shower. A weak front will cross on Wednesday but will only bring the chance for a shower or thunderstorm. Behind it, the humidity will lower a little for Thursday but no real cool air is coming our way in the near future.
