Many locations will stay dry as we go into the early hours of Monday, but some spotty drizzle will linger to the morning commute. Areas of fog will form with temperatures ranging from the mid 50s to near 60° as we start Monday. Monday will have a mix of clouds and sunshine with a weak area of high pressure over the region, but we could still get some showers and thundershowers developing as we go into the afternoon. With the humid air settling in over western and central PA, some of the showers and thundershowers will produce drenching downpours. Temperatures in the afternoon will reach the upper 70s and low 80s across the region. Some areas of fog will develop during the late hours of Monday and early hours of Tuesday with temperatures in the low to mid 60s. Tuesday will almost a repeat of Monday with scattered showers and thundershowers developing in the afternoon and high temperatures in the low and mid 80s. Wednesday will start with a mix of clouds and sun, but a front will move in late with showers and thunderstorms. High temperatures will peak ahead of the rain, with some locations pushing 90° in the valleys. Showers and thunderstorms will be around Thursday with highs in the 70s and 80s across the region. A stable and slightly cooler airmass will move into the region as we head toward next weekend.
