Reported by: Meteorologist Steve Newton
A few showers will linger during the overnight hours as temperatures fall into the low and mid 40s early Sunday. Sunday will be breezy with temperatures near what we saw Saturday and showers with a chance for a rumble or two of thunder. A disturbance will move by us to our south Monday, bringing another chance for showers to the region. Locations mainly to the south of the Turnpike will have showers late Monday into Tuesday. Milder air will push in Tuesday and temperatures will climb into the 70s for the second half of the week, but the chance for showers and thunderstorms will persist.
