Updated: Monday night, July 28th
Reported by: Meteorologist Steve Newton

The last few showers will move through during the early hours of Tuesday as temperatures will fall into the low and mid 50s during the overnight hours, and a few outlying spots in the Northern Tier and Laurel Highlands could briefly dip into the 40s. Tuesday will start with a mix of sun and clouds, but instability clouds will develop during the day and a few stray showers will develop. Tuesday, like Monday, will feel like fall with high temperatures in the mid 60s for the Laurel Highlands, mid and upper 60s for the Northern Tier, and the low 70s for communities in the valleys. Wednesday will have temperatures a touch higher than Tuesday, but I am keeping my eye on the chance for a few showers or thundershowers. We will start to warm up and get temperatures closer to seasonal later in the week, but as we warm up there is the chance for showers and thundershowers as we wrap up the month of July and get into August.
