Reported by: Chief Meteorologist Joe Murgo
Tuesday will be about as warm as Monday with a mix of clouds and sunshine. A few spots will have a shower or thunderstorm in the afternoon. With higher humidity, any place that gets hit could have a heavier downpour, but a lot of spots will still be rain free. Temperatures Tuesday will reach in the 70s, perhaps near 80 in spots. Wednesday will be warm and humid with clouds, some sunshine and scattered showers and thunderstorms. Once again there may be some heavier downpours. Temperatures will rise into the upper 70s to near 80. Thursday will be even a little warmer and more humid with clouds and sunshine. Some showers and thunderstorms will be around, especially during the afternoon and evening hours. Friday will also be warm and humid with a mix of clouds and sunshine and an afternoon shower or thunderstorm. Temperatures will reach into the lower to middle 80s. With a moist atmosphere, any of the showers or thunderstorm through the end of the week can bring flooding downpours. Nights will also be muggy through the rest of the week keeping temperatures from dropping lower than the 60s in most locations. A weak front will push through and give us a slight reduction in humidity for the weekend. We'll have a mix of clouds and sunshine with highs near 80. There will only be a stray shower or thunderstorm each day over the weekend. The humidity will creep up a little more on Monday with times of clouds and sunshine along with scattered showers and thunderstorms.
