Morning Weather Forecast Saturday, October 28th, 2017

The weather will deteriorate through the weekend.

Today will start off with some sunshine but clouds will increase from the west to east through the morning. A front will bring a back of rainfall into the area during the midday and afternoon hours.

A disturbance moving along that front will bring us rain that can be heavy at times tonight into tomorrow. Chilly air will filter into the region during the day on Sunday and temperatures will hold in the 40s, even dropping into the 30s in places. Some wet snow can mix in with the rain tomorrow, especially during the afternoon into the evening. A few of the highest elevations may even get a brief slushy covering. The precipitation should move out for the start of the work week and we will have nothing more than an isolated sprinkle or flurry on Monday; otherwise, it will be a breezy day with a mix of clouds and sunshine. Highs will be in the 40s to near 50 but the wind may make it feel cooler than that.

A shower can not be ruled out on Tuesday; otherwise we’ll be chilly with clouds and sunshine. Highs will be in the middle to upper 40s. The next system will approach the area with an increase in cloudiness followed by the possibility for some rain on Wednesday. It may even be cold enough for a bit of a mix with the start of that system. We’ll know more when time gets closer. Thursday and Friday will stay rather cloudy and unsettled with showers but it will be a little milder with highs in the 50s.
