Today will start with a mix of sun and clouds, with more clouds in the southern valleys and Laurel Highlands. There will be a chance for a couple showers further south as we go through the day, but there will be many locations that stay dry. We will have an easterly breeze Saturday, with high temperatures in the mid and upper 70s across Central PA, with some communities in Jefferson and Indiana Counties ending up warmer than locations in Huntingdon or Fulton Counties. The mix of clouds and sunshine will stick around through the weekend with chance for showers remaining, but like Saturday there will be communities that stay dry. Sunday will start in the mid and upper 50s, and high temperatures will be in the mid and upper 70s across the region. Monday will start with a mix of clouds and sunshine, but clouds will increase ahead of the next disturbance that will arrive late in the day and bring scattered showers and thunderstorms. Temperatures will get into the upper 70s and near 80° Monday afternoon before the rain begins. Tuesday will have highs in the upper 70s and low 80s before the cold front associated with the disturbance moves through, and clouds will break for a little sunshine behind the front. Clouds will thicken again for Wednesday with a few showers developing, but cooler air will be moving into the region again. High temperatures will be in the mid 70s to around 80°. Sunshine looks to make its return in the second half of the week, but high temperature will be in the low and mid 70s.
