Reported by: Chief Meteorologist Joe Murgo
A second cold front will bring scattered showers along with a gusty wind during the day today. There will be some breaks of sunshine between the showers which will help push temperatures to near or above 60 in spots, but otherwise, most of the day will be windy and cool with temperatures bouncing in the 50s. The sky will clear tonight and we will have a mix of sun and clouds on Sunday. It will be a cool day despite some sunshine with highs in the 50s. A slow moving upper-level low pressure system sitting in the middle of the nation will then dominate our weather as we head into next week. Monday will start off with a mix of clouds and sunshine but the upper level low will start to throw moisture to our region and showers are possible during the afternoon. Tuesday looks quite wet, windy and cool with rain and then slowly the rain will taper to scattered showers by the end of next week. It will be cool each day with highs in the 50s to near 60. Though things could change if this system moves faster or slowly.
