BOSWELL, SOMERSET COUNTY - Police and fire officials are still dealing with a mess after the Somerset County floods.

Around 3:30 Wednesday morning emergency officials got called out for the first water rescue and have been working ever since. They say heavy rains caused the dam to breach and damaged some property, but no one was seriously hurt.

The police say there's no major public safety issue right now. The main roads are clear but they're asking people to stay out of the alleyways around town. Fire crews have been out pumping basements all day.
