Reported by: Meteorologist Steve Newton
The line of showers that moved through this afternoon will push out this evening, but there will be some isolated showers and thunderstorms until just after sunset when the thunderstorms will fall apart. A few showers will linger into early Sunday as temperatures fall into the low and mid 40s. Sunday will be windy with temperatures near what we saw Saturday and showers with a chance for a rumble or two of thunder. A disturbance will move by us to our south Monday, bringing another chance for showers to the region. Locations mainly to the south of the Turnpike will have showers late Monday into Tuesday. Milder air will push in Tuesday and temperatures will climb into the 70s for the second half of the week, but the chance for showers and thunderstorms will persist.
