14 people across the state, including a Cambria county man, were recently prosecuted for welfare fraud.
Many of the convictions were for fraudulently receiving SNAP benefits.
The ages of the six sentenced ranged 23-48 years old.
The 13 recently pleaded guilty and have been sentenced, the OIG announced Friday.
The Office of the Inspector General also provided evidence against two repeat offenders.
Local charities are seeing more people as more people are turned down for welfare.
