Wednesday Midday Forecast October 2, 2013

Above average temps for the afternoon.
Updated Wednesday Midday, October 2nd
Reported by Meteorologist Regina Miller

It will be unseasonably warm today with high temperatures getting into the upper 70s.  In fact a few locations in southeastern zones could get to around 80 degrees.  A cold front moving into the region will bring nothing more than some passing clouds.  Tonight will be partly cloudy late with patchy fog.  Tomorrow will be partly sunny and warm with just a chance for a shower clipping the northwestern parts of the region as a warm front moves through.  Highs will be in the upper 70s again.  Friday clouds will break at time for some hazy sun.  There could be a shower or two around.  Even though a shower cannot be ruled out for Saturday, most locations will be rain free with a mix of clouds and hazy sun.  A front will merge with moisture from a system moving northeastward out of the Gulf on Sunday into Monday bring our greatest likelihood for rain to the region.
