Lake effect & upslope snow showers will kick in during the afternoon.

There will be some scattered snow showers around and gusty winds this afternoon.  A few locations could pick up a coating to an inch or two through tonight.  Somerset Jefferson and Cambria counties are under a winter weather advisory through early tonight as gusty winds and upslope and lake effect snow showers could blow that light snow across roadways creating slick/ icy spots.  2-4" of snow are possible in the Advisory area with locally higher amounts under any narrow lake effect snow bands.  Temps will fall into the 20s in many locations this afternoon.  Tonight will be cold and blustery with temps only in the teens.  There will be some scattered snow showers around.  Winds start to diminish for your Thanksgiving with temps only in the 20s with broken clouds and flurries.  Black Friday starts cold with temps only in the teens.  We'll have a mixture of sun and clouds and highs in the low 20s.  Saturday will be at least partly sunny with highs in the mid to upper 30s.
