VIDEO: Leaving or Staying? James Franklin Reportedly Penn State Bound

Vanderbilt Athletic Director David Williams says Franklin told him the reports are "not true."
STATE COLLEGE, CENTRE COUNTY - And it continues...

As of the early stages of Friday morning Penn State still officially does not have a head football coach.

Earlier in the day on Thursday both ESPN, and CBSSports.com reported that Vanderbilt head coach James Franklin is "expected" to take the job.  However as the day progressed more reports continued to surface that suggested otherwise.

For instance Thursday evening, "The Tennessean" reported that Franklin texted Vanderbilt Athletic Director David Williams (Franklin and Williams are close friends) that he was "still trying to make a decision."

A source did confirm to WTAJ that the newly formed "Compensation Committee," a branch of Penn State's Board of Trustees will hold a conference call on Saturday morning at 9 AM.  An executive session will precede the call at 8:30 AM.
