RENO, NEVADA - The sexual assault civil lawsuit filed against Ben Roethlisberger is going to be tried in Reno.
The Nevada Supreme Court Thursday decided that the case should be heard where the attorney for a woman alleging the Steelers' quarterback assaulted her filed the original complaint.
Roethlisberger's attorneys tried to get the venue moved to Douglas County, where the woman claims he sexually assaulted her in July 2008 when she worked at Harrah's Lake Tahoe casino hotel.
The defense lawyers said Douglas County would be more convenient and that none of the defendants lives in county where Reno is located.
Besides Roethlisberger, the woman is also suing her former employers and several co-workers.
