This week in Tuesday's Tails, we shine a spotlight on Beagle911, and two of their adorable adoptables, Linus and Kisses!

Linus is a very sweet little fellow. He was picked up as a stray, and was very skinny and scared.  This poor little guy has had a rough life.  Part of his ear has been bitten off and he has scabs and bald spots all over his body from a severe flea infestation.  He is now flea-free, getting plenty of food, and on the road to recovery.  He just needs his hair to grow back and put on a little weight.  Through all this, he has maintained the sweetest disposition.  He will follow you everywhere with his tail wagging.  Gets along well with other dogs and just LOVES people!  We are not sure what he is mixed with, possibly basset hound or maybe dachshund.  He is small, only about 15 pounds, but what a love! Linus doesn't  bark much and is housebroken.  All in all, he's a real sweetheart!

Kisses is about 2 years old and was picked up as a stray. The volunteers in the high kill shelter where she was being held, couldn't bear to see her get euthanized because she was so sweet. They contacted Beagle911, who picked her up, and are now fostering her. Kisses lives up to her name!  She will give you kisses to say Hello. She walks well on a leash, except when she sees a squirrel! She's a nice size with soft fur, and just a delightful companion.  She is also very playful, and ready to play whenever you are! Kisses gets along great with all people, kids, other dogs, and cats. We're not sure what she is mixed with, but definitely some herding heritage, so maybe Australian Shepherd. That would fit with her head shape and her coat as well. She weighs about 35 pounds. All in all, a great companion for any family!

Beagle911 holds a weekly adoption event at Sportsman's Liquidation (317 Benner Pike, State College)  every Sunday from 11:00 a.m until 3:00 p.m.  Weather permitting, Beagle911 will also be at the Tractor Supply Company (965 Benner Pike, State College) during the same time frame.  You may also visit with the dogs by appointment.
