For Tuesday's Tails, we had two furry, four-legged friends who are straight out of a Disney movie: a dog and a cat pair that are best friends. Lisa Bahr, shelter supervisor for Centre County PAWS, introduced us to Maloose and Reka, a cat and dog who have grown up sleeping together every night.
Maloose is a nine year old domestic shorthair cat. With a sweet and friendly temperament, she does well with kids and other cats and dogs. She has always lived outside with her friend Reka, but is eager to find an indoor life. She is female and has been spayed. She would very much like to be adopted with her friend Reka.
Reka is a nine year old lab/shepard mix. Easy going and well behaved, he has spent his entire life outdoors but is looking for a family who will help him learn how to be an indoor dog. Friendly and calm, he is good with children, dogs, and even cats. He is not housebroken or crate trained. He would love to be adopted with his friend Maloose.
For information on how to adopt Maloose and Reka or any other pet, contact the Centre County PAWS at (814)237-8722, ext. 8 or centrecountrypaws.org.
