Early snow ends as scattered snow showers this morning.
Updated Tuesday Morning, December 17th
Reported by Meteorologist Regina Miller

This morning's light snow will end as some scattered snow showers.  There could be a rain or mixed shower next to the MD/ WV borders.  This afternoon will be variably cloudy with temps in the low 30s.  Tonight a front will bring a scattering of snow showers which may put down a quick coating in spots.  Tomorrow we'll have intervals of clouds and sun (more clouds to the northwest).  Highs will fall back into the 20s again.  Thursday will be milder with highs in the upper 30s to around 40, under partly sunny skies.  Friday makes it into the mid 40s but some showers may begin to develop through the day.  Showers are possible also on Saturday with a steadier rain likely by nighttime into the first part of Sunday.  Currently it looks as if there could be some heavier bands that may set up.  If that does occur, there could be some flooding concerns since snow melt could also factor in.  It is still a little too early to tell for sure, but it is a situation we will monitor as we get closer to the weekend.
