Trooper Shooting Update

Trooper Wilson continues to recover after being shot in September.
BROCKWAY, JEFFERSON COUNTY - September 26, Trooper Bradley Wilson and a team of officers were serving a search warrant at a Brockway home on Cemetery Hill Road when the owner shot through a window. He struck Wilson with two bullets.

Wilson was immediately taken from the scene and later flown to UPMC Pittsburgh where he continues to recover. A friend posted to social media on Thursday that he is still on a ventilator.

The friend stated "Let's all take a minute and offer prayer for Trooper Brad Wilson. In the early morning hours yesterday, because of breathing problems, he had to immediately be put back on the ventilator, and is being evaluated now to see what caused the problem and what corrective action needs to be taken. He was there for us; let's all be there for him, and keep offering prayer."

The shooter committed suicide after a stand-off with police.
