After fundraising for almost 2 years, the Brookville Honor Guard is bringing the American Veterans Traveling Tribute to the area.
JEFFERSON COUNTY - The American Veterans Traveling Tribute will soon be on display at the Brookville Fairgrounds.

The Brookville Honor Guard has worked for nearly 2 years to bring the tribute to the region.

It includes a 9-11 Memorial, a replica of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial in D.C., a WWII and Korean War tribute, a Fort Hood Memorial and more.

Wednesday at 3:00, the tribute will leave from the DuBois Harley Davidson. Over 5,000 bikers are expected to travel with the tribute as it goes through Sykesville, Punxsutawney and as it ends in Brookville.

People are encouraged to wave flags as the bikers ride through.
