Amtrak is investigating how one of its trains ended up on the wrong tracks.
PHILADELPHIA – Amtrak is investigating how one of its trains ended up on the wrong tracks November 14th, getting lost in the Philadelphia suburbs.

Amtrak 644 left 30th Street Station for New York City and somehow ended up on the SEPTA tracks. The train traveled several miles on the wrong tracks before stopping at the Bala Cynwyd station.

The 130 passengers on the train were safely returned to Philadelphia and placed on a different train to New York.
