JOHNSTOWN, CAMBRIA COUNTY--- A charity started by a 17 year old more than eight years ago is in full swing collecting toys for kids.
Conner Hagins started Cuddles for Kids to help bring a joyful smile to those who spend the holidays in the hospital. It started out with just helping out the little ones, to now helping as many people, kids and other charities in need.
‘It’s a privileged to be able to help others not just this time of year but all year round,” said Hagin.
On Monday afternoon Hangins and his friends unloaded 50 boxes of more than 1,000 books for the Santa Fund at the Girl Scout headquarters in Johnstown on Monday.
“This is all because of people in the community who help support us,” said Hagins.
Hagins is always hoping to make each and every year bigger and better than the one before. Donations of either toys or monetary can be made to CFK, click on “cuddles” for details.
