Touch-A-Truck, Help a Food Pantry

Special vehicles of all kinds will be on display for kids to explore.

DUBOIS - Kids will get a chance to check out some big vehicles up close.

The Greater DuBois Chamber of Commerce is hosting a Touch-A-Truck event tomorrow, Sept. 14. It'll run from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Walmart parking lot.

Trucks and special vehicles of all kinds will be on display for everyone to explore, sit behind the wheel, honk the horn, and pretend to drive.

Those include police and fire department vehicles, huge tri-axle trucks, a skid-steer, a cement truck, an ice cream truck, tractor trailers, the Rolling Radio, ambulance, new garbage truck, side-by-side, ATV, a WTAJ News live truck, and more!

An adult must be present to accompany children as they enter the roped-off area.

Admission is free, but kids are asked to bring canned goods for the local food pantry.

The DuBois Kiwanis Club will also be providing free gun locks.
