A visit from a baby sea lion, a musical garbage truck, a cat that attacks printer paper and a Flat Stanley Flashback: It's all in Today's Two Cents!
In this edition of Today's Two Cents, Sarah kicks things off with a cute video of a baby sea lion that decides to climb on board a boat! The baby stayed there for an hour, hanging out with the people on board. It's a close encounter they won't soon forget!
Next, Dawn shares memories of the ice cream trucks she'd see around her grandmother's neighborhood. The ice cream man would play kid-friendly tunes on a speaker and drive through town, calling all the kids to come out and buy some ice cream. Most people know about musical ice cream trucks, but how about a musical garbage truck? They exist in Viet Nam and Tawian. Dawn shows video proof!
For her next video, Sarah says you can find all kinds of scary things all over Central PA and beyond. But, for one cat, there's one thing that is scarier than anything - and that's printer paper! She shows a video of a cat that confronts the paper by clawing at it, taking matters into his own paws and attacking it on camera! He claws the paper and won't give up until it's out of the way.
And finally, Dawn shares a flashback video from last year's Two Cents featuring Flat Stanley. Dawn received a Flat Stanley paper cut out from her nephew David who lives in Poplar Grove, Illinois. He and his class were instructed to cut out paper people and send them on an adventure, then take pictures of where they had been. David mailed his to Pennsylvania and Dawn put Stanley on the show. Stanley even helped Joe Murgo do the weather! David and his family are in town for a visit this week, so today, David and his dad David Sr. (Dawn's brother) joined Dawn on the show to talk about Flat Stanley's appearance on Central PA Live. David also told our viewers what his class throught about the T.V. adventure!
