Another very warm afternoon is in store.
Updated Thursday Midday, October 3rd
Reported by Meteorologist Regina Miller

It will be another unseasonably warm afternoon.  It will become a little more humid as well.  A warm front crossing the western part of the region could spark a stray shower or perhaps thunder.  The best chance will be in northwestern zones.  Temps will rise again into the upper 70s with a few spots getting close to 80 again.  We'll have intervals of clouds and sun after some areas of morning fog.  With the approach of a warm front there could be a stray shower or storm.  The greatest chance will be in locations near the I-80 corridor or in the Laurels.  Any activity will be only spotty, with many locations wrapping up the week dry.  The same hold true tonight and tomorrow, when there could also be a spotty shower.  Otherwise, it continues to be warm with temps in the upper 70s to near 80.  Saturday may be dry for most as well.  Our next chance at widespread rainfall throughout the region comes later on Sunday or Monday.  That is when a front will merge with moisture from a system moving northeastward out of the Gulf.
