Three People Hurt in Car Crash Near School

Passenger with major injuries flown from scene.

SPRING TOWNSHIP, CENTRE COUNTY - A two-car crash sent three people to hospitals.

It happened around 5:20 a.m. on Harrison Road near the Central Pennsylvania Institute of Science and Technology. That's in Spring Township, Centre County.

State Police said 19-year-old Jared Roberts from Bellefonte was turning when 25-year-old Corinna Panulla from Pleasant Gap hit him.

Both drivers were injured and were taken to Mount Nittany Medical Center.

A 17-year-old passenger in Roberts' car was seriously hurt and had to be flown to UPMC Altoona.
