CAMBRIA TOWNSHIP, CAMBRIA COUNTY--- A student with a loaded handgun was taken into custody late Friday afternoon at the Admiral Peary Vo-Tech School.
Cambria Township Police were called to the school with a report of a student with a gun. No one was hurt and no threats were made to any other students.
The schools Executive Director Ken Jubas said a school official was notified that the student may have a gun on him and action was quickly taken.
“I think because of the good communication and quick response that is the reason we had a positive outcome,” said Jubas.
Jubas said the student brought the gun because he felt threatened.
‘He told us he was going to be jumped by a group of individuals,” said Jubas.
Cambria Township Police took the 16-year old boy into custody and said the investigation is on going. Due to the fact the actor is a juvenile police said they can not make additional comments but did say charges are expected be filed.
