Carrie Wilkinson, staff partner for the American Society stopped by the Altoona studios to discuss the upcoming "Striking Chords Against Cancer" event. It is a music festival where local musicans donate their time and talent to perform and help raise funds to fight for a cure. One of the musicians, Ryan Matthews, performed a song as a sneak peak. He will be one of many artists to perform at the event.
Tickets are $10 and can be purchased at the Altoona Giant Eagle or the American Cancer Society.
Make sure to buy your ticket for Striking Chords Against Cancer by Friday, May 24th. You'll be entered to win an Altoona Curve Luxury Suite for the Tuesday, June 25th game. Your winnings include 3 vip parking passes, 20 tickets, an honorary first pitch opportunity and a group welcome on the jumbo screen. Don't miss this great event for a great cause!
