Sandusky Lawyers File Appeal with State Supreme Court

His appeal with the Superior Court was denied in October.
HARRISBURG, DAUPHIN COUNTY – Lawyers for Jerry Sandusky filed a petition for allowance of appeal Wednesday with the State Supreme Court, less than one month after his Superior Court appeal was denied.

In early October, the State Superior Court ruled unanimously that Sandusky did not deserve a new trial after being convicted of sexually abusing 10 boys.

Sandusky was convicted in July 2012 on 45 counts of child sex abuse and was sentenced to 30-60 years in prison.
