STATE COLLEGE, CENTRE COUNTY - One organization is pitching in to help an injured soldier.

Otto's Pub & Brewery in State College always has a big Christmas tree in the front room to greet guests, but this year, they're adding new decorations to help Sergeant Adam Hartswick.

Sgt. Hartswick, a combat medic, 2009 graduate of State College Area High School and lifelong resident of both State College and Pine Grove Mills, lost his legs and index finger in May after stepping on an IED in Afghanistan.

Otto's is hosting a campaign to raise money for Adam's medical expenses.

Purchase a red, white and blue ribbon for $5 and put it on the Christmas tree at Otto's. Once there are 1,000 ribbons, Otto's will donate $1,000 and all money raised will be given to Adam.

Otto's Pub & Brewery is located at 2235 North Atherton Street in State College. The campaign runs through December 31st.
