Report: O'Brien Reaches Deal With Texans

ESPN is reporting that Penn State's Bill O'Brien has reached a deal to become the new coach of the Houston Texans.
ESPN's Adam Schefter and Chris Mortensen are reporting that Penn State football coach has reached an agreement to become the new coach of the Houston Texans.

John McClain of the Houston Chronicle is reporting that the deal will be announced on Thursday, January 2nd, and O'Brien will be in attendance for the announcement.

The Chronicle says the two sides finalized a deal on Tuesday night.

O'Brien will become the third head coach in Houston Texans' history.  He follows Dom Capers (2002-2005) and Gary Kubiak (2006-2013).

O'Brien was 15-9 in 2 seasons as the Nittany Lions' head football coach.
