PSU Faculty Senate Proposes Additional Changes to Health Plan

Penn State's Faculty Senate voted on yet another change to the new health care initiative Tuesday.
PENN STATE, UNIVERSITY PARK - Penn State's Faculty Senate voted on yet another change to the controversial health care initiative Tuesday.

The group will recommend to administrators to suspend a $100/month surcharge for Penn State employee spouses and domestic partners who participate in Penn State's health insurance plan, but have insurance available through their jobs.

Just last week, Penn State announced a suspension of the $100/month surcharge for employees who do not want to participate in the wellness screening and online survey.
