PSU Amends Bill O' Brien's Contract

The amendment increases O'Brien's contract from $950,000 to $1,932,779.<br mce_bogus="1">
STATE COLLEGE, CENTRE COUNTY - Penn State's head football coach is getting a raise.

The University announced on Thursday that Bill O'Brien's current contract has been amended, and that O'Brien will now see nearly a million dollar raise in 2013.

O'Brien's 2012 base salary had been set at $950,000, he will now see it increase to $1,932,779 in 2013.

Penn State Athletic Director Dave Joyner said in through a release today, "In the face of great adversity, Bill did a tremendous job with all facets of the Penn State football program."
