Personal Care Home Plea

The former owner and operator of a personal care home pleaded guilty to involuntary manslaughter.

BLAIRS MILLS, HUNTINGDON COUNTY - The former owner and operator of a personal care home pleaded guilty to involuntary manslaughter.

Conne Souders ran Sleepy Hollow Personal Care facility in Blairs Mills, Huntingdon County.

Sally Fultz, a 70 year old blind woman wandered away and drowned in a creek in October 2012.

Souders looked after Fultz and about 4 others.
 
Another man died in 2006 at the home when he wandered away and was also found dead in the creek.

Charges were not filed against Souders at that time.

She'll face sentencing at a later date.
