Penn State Trustee Withdraws From Paterno Lawsuit

A Penn State student Board of Trustees member is withdrawing from the Paterno family lawsuit.
PENN STATE, UNIVERSITY PARK - A Penn State student Board of Trustee member is withdrawing from the Paterno family lawsuit.

Peter Khoury filed paperwork in Centre County court to withdraw his status as a plaintiff to the lawsuit Monday.

Khoury announced last month he was being "forced out" of the lawsuit by the Board of Trustees.

He says the board told him to choose between the lawsuit and his role as a member of the university's Presidential Search Committee.

Khoury and four other Board of Trustees members joined the lawsuit against the NCAA in May.
