The warm pattern will continue into the upcoming weekend.
Updated: Wednesday Night, October 2nd, 2013
Reported by: Chief Meteorologist Joe Murgo

The warm weather pattern continues as high pressure locked to our south continues to dominate our weather pattern. Thursday will be another warm day with a mix of clouds and sunshine. A warm front will bring just the chance for a stray shower or thunderstorm later in the day into Friday. The best chance will be west of I-99. Temperatures will reach the upper 70s Thursday and probably again Friday despite more clouds than sunshine. Behind the warm front, we'll have an unseasonably warm weekend. Saturday will feature a partly sunny sky with only a slight chance for a shower or thunderstorm. Temperatures will push toward 80. Sunday will bring a little more in the way of clouds, but highs will still be well into the 70s. There is a little better chance for a shower or thunderstorm Sunday but still many spots will be dry. A cold front will bring some showers, maybe a thunderstorm on Monday. The front may still be close enough to bring a fair amount of clouds Tuesday before clearing out for the middle of next week.
