Updated: Wednesday Night, November 6th, 2013
Reported by: Chief Meteorologist Joe Murgo

There will be a period of rain later into early Thursday then the rest of Thursday will be windy and colder with variable cloudiness and scattered showers. Temperatures will drop from morning highs in the upper 40s to near 50 down through the 40s in most spots during the afternoon. In fact, the mercury may drop into the 30s across the higher terrain during the afternoon with snowflakes mixing in with rain showers. There will be scattered flurries and snow showers Thursday night into Friday morning. The rest of Friday will be mostly cloudy, brisk and cold with the clouds trying to break for some sunshine later in the day. Temperatures Friday will probably not rise higher than the upper 30s to the lower 40s. A bubble of high pressure will clear the sky for a cold night Friday night and then slide to the south and allow for a little rebound on Saturday with a partly sunny sky and highs in the upper 40s. A weak front will pass through with a gusty breezy only the slightest chance for a shower Sunday. This front will then stall to our south and may set the stage for a period of cloudier, chillier and unsettled weather through the beginning of next week.
