Reported by: Chief Meteorologist Joe Murgo

Tuesday will be brisk and cold. The day will start off with patches of clouds and scattered flurries but as an area of high pressure settles over the region, sunshine will start to win out during the afternoon. Temperatures will struggle to reach to near 40 in many locations. Tuesday night will be chilly with lows from the teens to the lower to middle 20s. We'll still have more sunshine than clouds on Wednesday with highs near or just above 40s. Clouds will start to filter back into the region on Thursday. The next front will bring some showers on Friday and then some steadier rain along with wind Friday night into Saturday. The coldest air of the season will then press in for the second half of the weekend.
