Overnight Forecast Monday, December 2nd, 2013

Milder air will continue to push in despite clouds.
Updated: Monday Night, December 2nd, 2013
Reported by: Chief Meteorologist Joe Murgo

Temperatures Tuesday will rise back into the lower to middle 40s despite a good deal of clouds and scattered sprinkles. The mercury will rise into the middle to upper 40s Wednesday despite thickening cloudiness ahead of the next front. This front will bring showers later Wednesday into Thursday. Temperatures Wednesday night will hold in the 40s and then will rise into the 50s in many spots Thursday despite the rainfall. This front will slowly slip across the region Friday. We'll have periods of rain with temperatures starting to fall. The rain may mix with ice or snow very late in the day and a mix is likely for a time Friday night. There may be some leftover flurries early Saturday and then drier air will give us a return of some sunshine but temperatures will not rise higher than the 30s. The break will not be long as a disturbance will move along this front and bring the chance for another wintry mix or rain later Sunday with leftover snow showers Monday.
