New E-Commerce Center Coming to Pennsylvania

The facility will add 350 full-time jobs to one community.
HARRISBURG, DAUPHIN COUNTY – Governor Tom Corbett announced Tuesday Wal-Mart plans to open a new fulfillment center in Bethlehem, Lehigh County.

The center will support the company’s growing e-commerce business, which is expected to yield global sales in excess of $10 billion for 2013.

The one million square foot facility is expected to open in the first quarter of 2014 and employ 350 full-time employees. In addition, Wal-Mart expects to hire more than 700 employees during the holidays and peak seasons.
